The device will ship with Android 7.0 Nougat.
The company will also release a DeX dock for the Galaxy S8 which will enable users to use Samsung's Desktop Experience on an external display.
If the latter, the release date, is correct, then April 10 as the date in which Samsung will begin accepting pre-orders slots in nicely between the announcement and release dates. The Galaxy Xcover 4 is created to withstand drops, extreme temperatures and many other things that would affect a regular smartphone. We don't know if this will come to the USA, but considering the announcement was made on Samsung's German site, chances seem slim. Not only is the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 water- and dust-resistant, it will also come with a rather decent asking price of just Euro 259.
The camera features 12-megapixel rear-facing camera with a f/1.7 aperture, phase detection autofocus as well as optical image stabilization.
As per the recent reports, it looks like the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus would arrive with an Infinity Display. They are also working on their mid-range devices that will be unveiled this year with Galaxy C5 Pro.
Further, Samsung has been in the new before for claiming nearly the entire available stock of the Snapdragon 835 chipset which is why all the latest flagships launched at this year's MWC came with last year's Snapdragon 821. If you're planning on spending a lot of time in a harsh environment, in other words, something like the Galaxy Xcover 4 might be right up your alley. In terms of internal storage, the device comes with 32 GB and 64 GB options, which can be expanded up to 256 GB through a microSD.
Launched earlier this year, the new Galaxy A series seems all set to make its debut in India. The device is available in three color variants - silver, gold, and blue (the discount is available on all three models).
