During Xi's two-day trip to the southeastern USA coastal town of Palm Beach, the leaders of the world's top two economies compared notes on a wide range of topics for more than seven hours altogether and agreed to expand win-win cooperation and manage differences on the basis of mutual respect.

Chinese experts say Washington's options in North Korea is limited. They remarked generally about "progress" in their relationship and optimism about the future.
Trump's hesitancy to punish China for its unfair trading practices as he promised to do on the campaign trail exacerbated this view, in addition to the limited response to North Korea's repeated provocations.
"And I believe lots of very potentially bad problems will be going away", he added.
"President Trump evaluated the facts, that the attacks occurred on his watch, and [as he] reflected upon prior responses or lack of responses, he came to the conclusion that we can not yet again turn away, turn a blind eye from what's happened".
"We have engaged in deeper understanding, and have built a trust", he said.
Was the first Xi-Trump summit a success for China?
Another matter that didn't come up was the bankruptcy of Westinghouse Electric Co.'s nuclear reactor business. Many blue-collar workers helped propel him to his unexpected election victory on November 8 and Trump is under pressure to deliver for them.
"This may be ambitious, but it's a big sea change in the pace of discussions", Ross said. But Stavridis said that he felt it was the "best strategy" should the U.S.be forced to take military action.

In an analysis, Xinhua also said Mr. Trump had ordered the strike to distance himself from Syria's backers in Moscow, to overcome accusations that he was "pro-Russia".
Iran and Russian Federation are the closest allies of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
