Mourinho to rest key men at Arsenal due to 'impossible' fixture demands

Although they are one point behind fourth-placed Manchester City, Mourinho said he was willing to rest players for Sunday's Premier League game at Arsenal in preparation for next Thursday's second leg against Celta.
Rashford, who netted an extra-time victor against Anderlecht in the quarterfinals, drove a right-foot strike over the wall and into the far left corner in the 67th minute, securing United the advantage going into the second leg in Manchester next week. "If we have to rest players next weekend, we are going to do that".
Celta coach Eduardo Berizzo was also full of admiration for Rashford after the Spanish side's first major European semi-final ended in a narrow loss.
Three-time European champions United had never reached the last four of the Europa League.
By contrast, Celta's mid-table position in La Liga has allowed Eduardo Berizzo to rest his key players over recent weeks to concentrate exclusively on reaching their first ever European final.
They are unbeaten in 24 Premier League games, but have not moved up the table as much as they would have liked.
Earlier on Sunday at Liverpool, James Milner's ideal record from the penalty spot ended at a crucial time for Liverpool in a 0-0 draw against Southampton, damaging his team's quest for Champions League qualification.
Celta tried to respond when Aspas volleyed wide after a one-two with Jonny and Lingard blasted wide from 15 yards at the other end after a loose ball fell into his path as United threatened to strengthen their position further.
United had more significant worries than just the thought of being outplayed going into the match, as Jose's side have been injury-ridden over the past month.
With six minutes of the first half remaining, Rashford teed up Lingard in the penalty area, but the England worldwide could only direct his strike at Celta's in-form goalkeeper.
Rashford had one effort towards the top corner palmed away, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Jesse Lingard failed with one-on-one attempts.
Thereafter, it fell on Alvarez to keep Celta in the tie.
60' - ROMERO SAVE - Sisto comes inside on to his right foot, his shot flicks the top of Valencia's boot and Romero leaps to tip it over.
As the second half became stale, the teenage sensation stepped up and scored the crucial goal after he fired in a stunning freekick. "It would be great to close the circle and say we won every competition in the football world", he said ahead of the first leg in Spain on Thursday.
